ORNAMENTED Paschal candle – the light of our Victorious Savior shines on the faces of all God’s children. The Easter Vigil is truly among the most impressive and beautiful of all Christian liturgical celebrations, and for this celebration, the towering Paschal candle offers its rich symbolism.  This candle includes a set of five nails with incense grains embedded and year dates. The five wax nails symbolize the five wounds sustained by the Savior in His glorified body.

The molded wax ornamentation introduces depth and relief; overlays of translucent colors blend, creating beautiful tonal effects. Liturgical significance and classic beauty in this hand-decorated Paschal candle. A master woodcarver brings the designer’s sketch to life in the form of a one-of-a-kind pear wood masterpiece. Through an intricate time-tested hand molding process, a superb duplicate of the wood carving is cast in specially formulated rich colour-infused waxes one at a time. After hand finishing, all individual pieces are skillfully applied to the candle.
